MTNL posts Q4 net loss of Rs 600.82 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 600.82 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 624.34 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 20.17 per cent at Rs 296.19 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 371.04 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 17.29 per cent to Rs 312.71 crore from Rs 378.08 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 24.99 per cent at Rs 155.15 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 124.13 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 134.66 per cent to Rs -16.52 crore as against Rs -7.04 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 193.68 per cent in March quarter.

Interest grew by 5.26 per cent y-o-y to Rs 531.07 crore
